This new addition to the Link Systems family is set to make rigging power distribution for lighting in the industry.
The 208V Hot Link is a compact electrical power distribution box specifically designed for 208V or 240V power. It boasts the capability to power twice the number of dual-rated lighting fixtures at this higher voltage. The unit features manually switchable outputs to control downstream equipment, pass-thru main power, and three courtesy power connectors. Additionally, the Hot Link offers easy rigging options, including Ratpac’s LINK system, 3/8″ -16 inserts, and safety anchoring points. To ensure durability and convenience, the box includes heavy-duty Link Skis as a built-in swamp box, making it ideal for location shoots and outdoor shooting to protect against ground moisture.
Since its inception in 2022 with the PDB Link, the Link Systems family has expanded to include several products and accessories that can be easily rigged together using its proprietary linking mechanism, offering unparalleled flexibility for custom power and data distribution setups. Some of the products and accessories already released include PDB Link, Data Shell, Top and Bottom Mounting Bracket, and Skis.
